What is World Coffee Day?

On the first day of October each year, the whole world celebrates this ancient wealth to support the coffee community and share everything new to spread knowledge in coffee culture.

When did it start?

World Coffee Day kicked off in Italy, Milan in 2015. It aims to spread culture and awareness in the fair trade of coffee, and has seen enthusiasm from the coffee community at the time to raise awareness and support.

Coffee in the community:

World Coffee Day aims to develop and raise the level of knowledge of the quality of coffee and the science behind it. For the coffee community, this day is an opportunity to serve members of the community to benefit from it, and in the celebrations of this World Day, members of the coffee family often meet, beginning with farmers, green coffee merchants, protectors, coffee makers and amateurs, and coffee competitions are also held in some countries to support the community and raise competition for quality.

This year’s goal:

Support farmers and coffee tree care workers who require special attention, high effort and human intervention without total reliance on machinery alone, and why farmers and workers’ wages are simple for the current living situation, as a community service from the World Coffee Organization, which has launched a global support campaign called Coffee_Pledge# to support farmers and spread happiness to all members of society.

Coffee celebrations are not limited to one day, in different cultures such as our Arab culture always in our happy times we find coffee first attendance, as well as coffee celebrations in Ethiopia, where everyone gathers to enjoy coffee, and many other countries. World Coffee Day is not only a celebration, it is a support and happiness for members of the coffee family around the world.
